Temi is an experienced operations manager with over 8 years of experience working in the charitable sector. She has previously worked with an asylum seeker and refugee charity in Nottingham and currently serves as a Treasurer on the board of an organisation that offers interpreting services for asylum seekers and refugees, believing that everyone has the right to be understood. She is passionate about human rights, education and young people. Her expertise includes financial management, administration and strategy implementation.


Fiona Cameron

Fiona has worked with refugees in Cairo, Sudan and the UK for over fifteen years in various roles.  She also undertakes regular short term consultancies.  Her areas of particular interest are developing immigration advice in the UK, and capacity building in refugee communities.  Fiona has a BA in International Development from the University of Sussex and an Msc in NGO Development from Cass Business School.







Wafa Suleiman

Wafa worked at StARS for five years in a variety of roles providing psychosocial services for unaccompanied children and families, firstly as the Coordinator for groups and activities and finally as the Deputy Director of the programme. She has a wide range Refugees at Cairo as Deputy Director of psychosocial programs and as Coordinator for groups and activities. In addition to direct service provision Wafa has expertise and designing and facilitating training, and was the focal point for emergency response.




Rosie Watt

Rosie is a trained social worker with a particular interest in migration and displacement, human trafficking responses, and humanitarian aid and development. Rosie has worked on projects in the UK and Egypt which enable refugees to access casework assistance . Currently Rosie works in a team that delivers anti-trafficking programming in the UK and internationally.  Rosie has a BA in Social Anthropology, and an MSc is Social Work.


 Emma Goldie

Emma is a consultant and programme coordinator specialising in child protection and youth programming. She has worked in Egypt and in the UK managing psychosocial, immigration and mental health programmes for refugee children, youth and families. She developed training tools on child protection and GBV, and lead on the development of participatory programming for children. Emma has an MSc in Global Health and is registered with the Office for Immigration Advice Services in the UK.


 

Abuzar Mohamed

Abuzar has been working with refugees, asylum seekers and migrants since 2015.He has been serving in different positions, first as a volunteer on community centres, then as a psychosocial worker, senior psychosocial worker, and finally progressing to Coordinator for Adult and Families Program in Saint Andrew’s Refugee Services (StARS) until May 2019.

Since moving to the UK earlier in 2019 as refugees, he has resumed his volunteering with a similar organisation, Bristol Refugee Rights, where he offers advocacy support for refugees, asylum seekers in the UK.
