Our Partners

  • ST ANDREW’S REFUGEE SERVICES, CAIRO - EGYPT

Founded by St. Andrew’s United Church of Cairo, StARS was one of the first organisations in Egypt dedicated to improving the quality of life of refugees and vulnerable migrants. The organisation has pioneered models of refugee leadership and not only provides extensive services, but also works on capacity building with refugee community organisations in Cairo.

As well as providing education services to children and adults, the organisation runs a legal project which works on refugee status determination, resettlement and protection issues, a psychosocial project, covering medical, psychological, housing, hosting and other services, and a community outreach programme.

StARS has been a major provider of practical help to refugees throughout the COVID pandemic and we partner with them on Our Real Resettlement Projects and Remote Legal projects
